Attie Vorpine (formerly known as Lake Prince (when gender-swapped), Lake Princess, Atlantica Vorpine III (more recently), and, in the Wut-Wut High timeline, Addeline "Addie" Vorpine) is the former princess of the Lake Kingdom and is one of the main characters in CamDog and ACat's episodes of Adventure Time.

BackgroundEdit

Attie was born as royalty, being forced to participate in royal affairs all her life. She never left the kingdom until she met Finn because she had no friends and therefore no reason to. She lives in the Lake Castle with her mother and father. Her father denounced her royal status and title in "Kicked Out", also depriving her of her royal gems, contacts, dresses, and maid-servant.

AppearanceEdit

Like most people residing in the Lake Kingdom, Attie has pale, turqiouse skin and blue, water-like hair. When she debuted, her hair was down to her waist. By "The Front Gates", it had reached her knees. In "Kicked Out" and "The Christmas Album", it was down to her ankles. She has it cut to shoulder-length in "Roommate". It had grown back to waist-length by "The Vampire King". She is a little bit shorter than Finn. She used to have a royal blue gem, much like her fiery counterpart, in her forehead. She wore contacts until her father took them, and she now wears a pair of thick, black glasses. She wears a different outfit in every episode that she has a major role in and even for some of her minor roles. Her gender-swapped counterpart looks the same but with shoulder-length hair, a blue outfit very similar to Prince Gumball's pink one (minus the crown), and a more masculine build. In the Wut-Wut High timeline, Addeline had dark hair and normal-colored skin.

AbilitiesEdit

Attie, like Flame Princess, has many abilities related to the element she is made of. She gets anything she touches wet unless she wears her gloves. She can conjure and manipulate water at will and morph her hair into different shapes. She can create ridable clouds to transport herself and others. As shown in "Something Big", she can shoot a streem of water out of her feet to fly. She is also a very good swimmer and was able to help Finn get over his fear of the ocean. She has no allergies after being injected with the anti-allergy serum in "Kicked Out". She is also a fairly good slow-dancer.

RelationshipsEdit

FinnEdit

Finn is Attie's boyfriend. She gives him her number at the end of "The Princess of the Lake" after she realizes that he likes her and she likes him back. They have their first date in "First Date". She has kissed him on the cheek in various episodes. Their first real kiss was in "Road Trip", though this one does not count because of the events of "Glob World". They later kiss again at the end of season one and again in "Date Night". Finn referred to her as his girlfriend in "Hopeless Lemonhope" and "Date Night". They are often seen holding hands. The two slow-danced and kissed in "Sweet Sixteen". He, along with Marceline, planned Attie's sixteenth birthday party in that same episode. Marceline described Finn as "the person who knows better than anyone what [Attie] likes". They fought as part of the Candy-Vampire Army together in the Great Kingdom War. In "Eternity", one of Marceline's prophetic dreams included Finn and Attie as a married couple expecting a child.

JakeEdit

Jake and Attie have been friends ever since he helped save her from the Ice King in "The Princess of the Lake". He was willing to cut her hair for free in "Roommate". He went to Attie's sixteenth birthday party in "Sweet Sixteen". They fought as part of the Candy-Vampire Army together in the Great Kingdom War.

Lake KingEdit

Attie does not like her father very much, since he often forces her into doing royal things. He dislikes when she wears the color yellow and sometimes forces her to wear blue instead. He disciplined her when she missed the Grand Meeting of Ooo Royalty by taking all royal items owned by her, denouncing her royal title and status, and banishing her from the kingdom. She turned down his offer to restore her royal status and rebelled against him in "War".

Lake QueenEdit

Lake Queen is nice enough towards her daughter and affectionately calls her "sweetie". She reminds Lake Princess in "Road Trip" that Lake King does not like it when she wears yellow, which annoys her. Nevertheless, Attie shows a strong preference of her mother over her father. Atlantica called for her mom shortly before being forced to leave the Lake Kingdom, hinting that she probably relies on her to get her out of most arguments between her and her father. They fought on opposing sides in "War".

GargelleEdit

Lake Princess found her servant to be sassy and somewhat annoying. Gargelle was lazy and felt like Lake Princess overworked her. There was tension between them in "Road Trip" because Gargelle called Finn hot. She was overjoyed when reassigned.

Ice King/SimonEdit

Lake Princess and Ice King were enemies since he tried to turn her into his "Ice Princess" and marry her. She keeps her distance from him in "Something Big". She forgives him after he turns back into Simon and agrees to attend his wedding. He went to Attie's sixteenth birthday party in "Sweet Sixteen".

Flame PrincessEdit

Despite the fact that she is Finn's ex-girlfriend, Attie enjoys hearing stories about her and often asks Finn what she was like. Their gender-swapped counterparts are depicted as friends in "Flame Prince" when they are seen talking to each other at Prince Gumball's potluck. Addeline did not like Fiona Prin (Flame Princess's alternate self) and viewed her as the mean, snooty, popular girl who used to be her boyfriend's girlfriend until she dumped him. They fought on opposing sides in the Great Kingdom War.

BMOEdit

Attie enjoys playing games on BMO but is sad that unless she wears gloves while playing it, both will get electrocuted. It went to Attie's sixteenth birthday party in "Sweet Sixteen".

Lady RainicornEdit

Attie sees Lady as a friend and was willing to help her learn English in "Give a Speech". She went to Attie's sixteenth birthday party in "Sweet Sixteen". They fought as part of the Candy-Vampire Army together in the Great Kingdom War and helped Princess Bubblegum save Lucas together in "Saving Lucas".

Princess BubblegumEdit

Attie's interaction with Bubblegum has been limited, but they seem to be nice enough towards each other. In the gender-swapped universe, Lake Prince receives an invitation from Prince Gumball to the potluck. Princess Bubblegum worries about Finn's safety in their relationship at first, wondering if she has a similar elemental matrix to Flame Princess. However, in "Road Trip", this is proven false. She went to Attie's sixteenth birthday party in "Sweet Sixteen". They fought as part of the Candy-Vampire Army together in the Great Kingdom War. Attie helped her save Lucas in "Saving Lucas".

Peppermint ButlerEdit

Attie can tolerate Peppermint Butler but is annoyed by his creepy ways. He went to Attie's sixteenth birthday party in "Sweet Sixteen". They helped Princess Bubblegum save Lucas together in "Saving Lucas".

LemonhopeEdit

Attie thinks Lemonhope is cute and was willing to help teach him. He went to Attie's sixteenth birthday party in "Sweet Sixteen". They fought as part of the Candy-Vampire Army together in the Great Kingdom War.

MarcelineEdit

Lake Princess and Marceline only interacted when they worked together in "Something Big". Marceline (or possibly one of the other members of the writing club) seemed to know about her since she put her gender-swapped counterpart in a story. In season two, Marceline befriends Atlantica shortly after her father kicks her out and helps her change her name, move into her house, and get a job. The two are currently good friends and roommates. Attie attended Marceline's concert in "The Christmas Album". Marceline, along with Finn, planned her sixteenth birthday party in "Sweet Sixteen". She made sure that Marceline knew that Tai had enrolled in wizard school in the episode "Wizard School". They fought as part of the Candy-Vampire Army together in the Great Kingdom War. The two have been seen playing cards, watching movies, painting, and doing other fun things together.

Maja/BettyEdit

Lake Princess wasn't fond of Maja because of her jerkiness. However, she is friendly towards Betty and went to her and Simon's wedding. She went to Attie's sixteenth birthday party in "Sweet Sixteen". They helped Princess Bubblegum save Lucas together in "Saving Lucas".

SchwableEdit

Atlantica was allergic to him, but after taking the anti-allergy serum, she lovingly takes care of him.

LolaEdit

Lola is Attie's boss, yet the two are friends. She gave Attie the anti-allergy serum for free before she even knew her well. Lola seems to pay her well, judging by the amount of money Attie offers Jake after he cuts her hair. She helped with Attie's sixteenth birthday party in "Sweet Sixteen".

TaiEdit

Ever since she introduced him to Lola, Tai and Attie have been co-workers. He helped with Attie's sixteenth birthday party in "Sweet Sixteen" and fought off the goo monsters that attacked them. She showed concern for him when he didn't show up for work in "Wizard School", meaning the two are probably now good friends. They fought as part of the Candy-Vampire Army together in the Great Kingdom War.

NEPTREdit

He went to Attie's sixteenth birthday party in "Sweet Sixteen".

ShelbyEdit

He went to Attie's sixteenth birthday party in "Sweet Sixteen".

Lucas PetrikovEdit

In "Saving Lucas", Attie, along with Finn, Jake, Peppermint Butler, Betty, Lady Rainicorn, and Princess Bubblegum, helped save Lucas from falling into toxic river and becoming the Lich.
